The 3D scale models for mobiles

Versailles and Google offer visitors to the Place an immersion into history through their mobile devices, iPhones, iPads and Android smartphones. The principle is simple: visitors just take out their telephones in the middle of the Royal Courtyard, at the foot of the Chapel or on the terrace of the gardens and can have a view of the Palace as it was during the period of their choice. Their telephone or tablet becomes a window on the past, superposing the major works carried out during the reign of Louis XIV on today’s Palace.
