The curatorial, new media and cultural mediation teams, and the departments for educational activities, heritage and gardens were key players in the process of designing, implementing and monitoring the programme.

In the design phase of the programme, the Cultural Institute was the technological partner of the exhibition curators and teams of Versailles. In particular, it was able to mobilise many Google engineers in Paris, New York and Colorado. They brought their expertise and enthusiasm to meet the technological and aesthetic challenges of the project.

Versailles and Google entrusted the production of the multimedia programme to companies selected after submitting competitive bids for their excellence in the mastery of the required technologies and for their sensitive approach to the cultural and aesthetic dimension of the project. They worked together in a network in close collaboration with Versailles and Google. This team work led to important technological advances in the use of the SketchUp and Google Earth software tools, the imaging of the scale models thanks to the Artlantis tool and the WEBGL language for interactive 3D imaging in Chrome.
